We bring to bear the following underlying foundation services in each of our IT Business Services on the next page, utilising our business values:

	Assurance - We provide accurate and current information to stakeholders about efficiency, effectiveness and status to inspire confidence in the deliverables. This is generally accomplished through: Evaluating the toolset being used end-to-end, especially to see that it is integrated and seamless. Documenting process workflows. Evaluating process workflows to find slow-points or critical paths. Improving the process workflows and toolset so that real-time dashboards of status and KPIs can be provided (and consumed) at all stages within the lifecycle. Adding auditing throughout the toolset (ideally) and processes (if manual steps are included) to report on the toolset/process efficiencies. Providing an efficient, intuitive & flexible reporting mechanism to stakeholders, ideally a link to a summary dashboard with a "Top 10" summary of changes over defined periods.
	Productivity - We improve the efficiency and throughput through process analysis, modelling and prototypes (typically using Microsoft standard tools - Access, Excel, Outlook, Project, Visio, C#, VB & VBA) before industrialisation. This is generally performed as a result of: Gaps identified within the toolset. Gaps identified within process workflows. Opportunities to improve efficiencies and consistency for slow-points or critical paths within process workflows. Opportunities to improve efficiencies and consistency in mandatory manual steps within process workflows. Opportunities to "reduce" the toolset by integrating more functionality into existing tools (and automating to other tools). E.g. adding custom progress fields to project plans and creating an automated status report that extracts said progress notes for the time period specified. Opportunities to model and measure other indicators arising from previous iterations/investigations. Opportunities to embrace new, more efficient technologies.
	Quality - We introduce measures and standards to ensure excellence is monitored and maintained. This is generally accomplished through applying (or defining) the best practice to achieve the Assurance and Productivity goals through a combination of the following: International and/or national standards. Product standards/best practices. Internal corporate standards/best practices. ...and common sense.
