Assuritivity Consulting (referred to as "we", "us", "our" or "the Company" in this Privacy Policy) understands that your privacy is important and that you care about how your personal data is used and shared online.

 

This privacy notice provides you with details of how we collect and process your personal data through your use of our site www.assuritivity.com ("Site"), when you contact us directly, or when you have given us your consent, or otherwise share personal information with us (collectively: "Users"). Assuritivity Consulting Ltd is the data controller and we are responsible for your personal data.

Grounds for data collection 

Personal data and personal information (hereinafter "Personal Information") means any information capable of identifying an individual or may potentially allow your identification through reasonable means. It does not include anonymized data.

 

Processing of your personal information is necessary for the performance of our contractual obligations towards you and providing you with our services, to protect our legitimate interests and for compliance with any legal and financial regulatory obligations to which we may be subject.

 

When you use the Site, you consent to the collection, storage, use, disclosure and other uses of your Personal Information as described in this Privacy Policy.

 

We encourage our Users to carefully read the Privacy Policy and use it to make informed decisions. 

What information do we collect?

We do not collect any Sensitive Data about you. Sensitive Data refers to data that includes details about your race or ethnicity, religious or philosophical beliefs, sex life, sexual orientation, political opinions, trade union membership, information about your health and genetic and biometric data. We do not collect any information about criminal convictions and offences.

 

We collect and process the following types of data and information from Users: 

 

  • Non-personal Information: unidentified and non-identifiable information pertaining to a User(s), which may be made available or gathered via your use of the Site. We are not aware of the identity of a User from which the Non-personal Information was collected. Non-personal Information which is being collected may include your aggregated usage information and technical information transmitted by your device, including certain software and hardware information (e.g. the type of browser and operating system your device uses, language preference, access time) in order to enhance the functionality of our Site. We may also collect information about your activity on the Site (e.g. pages viewed, online browsing, clicks, actions).

 

  • Personal Information: individually identifiable information, namely information that identifies an individual or may, with reasonable effort, identify an individual. Such information includes:

  • Registration information: When you register with our Site, you will be asked to provide us with certain details such as: full name; email or physical address, phone number and other information. 


  • Communication Data: includes any communication that you send to us whether that be through the contact form on our website, through email, text, social media messaging, social media posting or any other communication.
  • We process this data for the purposes of communicating with you, for record keeping and for the establishment, pursuance or defence of legal claims.
  • Our lawful ground for this processing is our legitimate interests which, in this case, are to reply to communications sent to us, to keep records and to establish, pursue or defend legal claims.


  • Customer Data: includes data relating to any purchases of goods and/or services such as your name, title, billing address, delivery address email address, phone number, contact details, purchase details and your card details.
  • We process this data for making services available or providing services to you, where we need to perform under a contract into which we have entered with you and to keep records of such transactions, for on-going administrative purposes, where we need to comply with a legal obligation, for being able to contact individuals about business partners’ promotions, where you’ve provided us with consent to contact you directly about events.
  • Our lawful ground for this processing is the performance of a contract between you and us and/or taking steps at your request to enter into such a contract, and to allow us to understand our customers and provide the highest levels of service.


  • Associate Data: includes data relating to the supply of services such as your name, title, company name, billing address, email address, phone number, contact details, payment details, professional career history, and any additional information included in a CV.
  • We process this data to assess the competency of the associate and their suitability for the supply of services to us and/or our clients, decide whether to include their CV in a proposal to a client, where you need to perform under a contract you have entered into with us and to keep records of such transactions, for on-going administrative purposes, where we need to comply with a legal obligation, for being able to contact individuals about promotions and events, where you’ve provided us with consent to contact you directly.
  • Our lawful ground for this processing is the performance of a contract between you and us and/or taking steps at your request to enter into such a contract, and to allow us to understand our associates suitability for roles and provide the highest levels of service.


  • Technical Data: includes data about your use of our website and online services such as your IP address, your login data, details about your browser, length of visit to pages on our website, page views and navigation paths, details about the number of times you use our website, time zone settings and other technology on the devices you use to access our website. The source of this data is from our analytics tracking system.
  • We process this data to analyze your use of our website and other online services, to administer and protect our business and website, to deliver relevant website content and advertisements to you and to understand the effectiveness of our advertising. 
  • Our lawful ground for this processing is our legitimate interests which in this case are to enable us to properly administer our website and our business and to grow our business and to decide our marketing strategy.



  • Marketing Data: includes data about your preferences in receiving marketing from us and our third parties and your communication preferences.
  • We process this data to enable you to partake in our promotions such as competitions, prize draws and free give-aways, to deliver relevant website content and advertisements to you and measure or understand the effectiveness of this advertising. 
  • Our lawful ground for this processing is our legitimate interests which in this case are to study how customers use our products/services, to develop them, to grow our business and to decide our marketing strategy.


Where we are required to collect personal data by law, or under the terms of the contract between us and you do not provide us with that data when requested, we may not be able to perform the contract (for example, to deliver goods or services to you). If you don’t provide us with the requested data, we may have to cancel a product or service you have ordered but if we do, we will notify you at the time.


How do we receive information about you?

We receive your Personal Information from various sources:

  • When you voluntarily provide us with your personal details in order to register on our Site;
  • When you use or access our Site in connection with your use of our services, which includes the use of cookies (please see our Cookie Policy  for more details);
  • From third-party providers, services and public registers. For example:
  • Advertisers and traffic analytics vendors, some of which like Google, LinkedIn or Facebook may be based outside the UK or EU).
  • Providers of technical, payment and delivery services, such as data brokers or aggregators.
  • Publicly available sources such as Companies House and the Electoral Register based inside the EU.

We do not rent, sell or share Users’ information with third parties, except as described in this Privacy Policy. We will only use your personal data for a purpose it was collected for or a reasonably compatible purpose if necessary. In case we need to use your details for an unrelated new purpose, we will let you know and explain the legal grounds for processing.

 

We may process your personal data without your knowledge or consent where this is required or permitted by law.

You may request the: 

  • Right to be informed: receive confirmation as to whether or not personal information concerning you is being processed.

  • Right to data portability: for any information you “have provided to a controller [us] in a structured, commonly used and machine readable format”.

However, please note that these rights are not absolute and may be subject to our own legitimate interests and regulatory requirements.

You will not have to pay a fee to access your personal data (or to exercise any of the other rights). However, we may charge a reasonable fee if your request is clearly unfounded, repetitive or excessive or refuse to comply with your request in these circumstances.

 

We may need to request specific information from you to help us confirm your identity and ensure your right to access your personal data (or to exercise any of your other rights). This is a security measure to ensure that personal data is not disclosed to any person who has no right to receive it. We may also contact you to ask you for further information in relation to your request to speed up our response.

 

We try to respond to all legitimate requests within one month. Occasionally it may take us longer than a month if your request is particularly complex or you have made a number of requests. In this case, we will notify you.

 

If you are not happy with any aspect of how we collect and use your data, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK supervisory authority for data protection issues. We should be grateful if you would contact us first if you do have a complaint so that we can try to resolve it for you.


Retention

We will only retain your personal information for as long as necessary to provide our services, and as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our policies.

 

Retention periods will be determined taking into account the type of information that is collected and the purpose for which it is collected, bearing in mind the requirements applicable to the situation and the need to destroy outdated, unused information at the earliest reasonable opportunity.

 

Under applicable regulations, we will keep records containing client personal data, account opening documents, communications and anything else as required by applicable laws and regulations. 

 

For tax purposes, the law requires us to keep basic information about our customers (including Contact, Identity, Financial and Transaction Data) for six years after they stop being customers.

 

In some circumstances, we may anonymize your personal data for research or statistical purposes, in which case we may use this information indefinitely without further notice to you.

 

We may rectify, replenish or remove incomplete or inaccurate information, at any time and at our own discretion.

We do not control these third-party websites and are not responsible for their privacy statements.

How do we safeguard your information?

We take great care in implementing and maintaining the security of the Site and your information.

 

We have put in place security measures to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used, altered, disclosed, or accessed without authorization. We also allow access to your personal data only to those employees and partners who have a business need to know such data. They will only process your personal data on our instructions and they must keep it confidential.

 

We have procedures in place to deal with any suspected personal data breach and will notify you and any applicable regulator of a breach if we are legally required to.

Marketing

We may use your Personal Information such as your name, email address, telephone number, etc., ourselves or by using our third-party subcontractors, for the purpose of providing you with promotional materials concerning our services which we believe may interest you, either due to your consent or our legitimate interests (namely to grow our business). 

 

Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, we may send you marketing communications from us if:

  • you made a purchase or asked for information from us about our goods or services or
  • you agreed to receive marketing communications

and, in each case, you have not opted out of receiving such communications since.

Corporate transaction

We may share information in the event of a corporate transaction (e.g. sale of a substantial part of our business, merger, consolidation or asset sale). In the event of the above, the transferee or acquiring company will assume the rights and obligations as described in this Privacy Policy.

Minors

We understand the importance of protecting children’s privacy, especially in an online environment. The Site is not designed for or directed at children. Under no circumstances shall we allow the use of our services by minors without prior consent or authorization by a parent or legal guardian. We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from minors. Updates or amendments to this Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to periodically amend or revise the Privacy Policy; material changes will be effective immediately upon the display of the revised Privacy policy. The last revision will be reflected in the "Last modified" section at the top of this policy. Your continued use of the Platform, following the notification of such amendments on our website, constitutes your acknowledgment and consent of such amendments to the Privacy Policy and your agreement to be bound by the terms of such amendments.
